- Became a business to see who could produce the fastest engines, car racing/Nascar started
- Creates mobs and gangs that sell alcohol illegally (Al Capone)
- Organized crime
- Politicians looked the other way
- Speakeasies were introduced (an illicit liquor store or night club that sells watered down alcohol)
